The receptionist should have a friendly outgoing manner that encourages interaction with clients. They must be proficient with MS Office Programs and efficiently learn our database and scheduling program. Knowledge of basic horse health needs and handling experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones
- Schedule appointments
- Set up new client and patient files – be sure to collect ALL required information
- Take product orders from clients, give orders to pharmacy attendant
- Collect and Post payments, run credit card machine, print weekly cc settlement
- Prepare and send invoices
- Prepare and send Client Correspondence
- Scan documents into medical records
- Prepare and send coggins and health certificates.
- Order office equipment and supplies
- Perform office housekeeping
- Post schedules to doctors and to on call service
- Run basic reports
- Answer client questions regarding billing and payment, and medical records
- Answer questions and promote our products and services
- Assist in surgery
- Once trained be on call one weekend a month for chores and surgeries

This is a part time or full time position, 30 – 40 hours per week. The work hours are Monday thru Friday 8AM to 4PM with fewer hours during slower season.
