About Us

Our Vision Statement

By supporting the clinical interest of the veterinarians and employees of our hospital, we can build an organization that can produce premium value for our clients at a fair price.

Our Pledge to Referring Veterinarians

We pledge to help you tighten the bond with your clients by dedicating our resources to education, communication, and referral services in a professional and ethical manner.

Providing the highest quality equine medical and surgical services for our patients to benefit the caring
horse owner.

Conley and Koontz Equine Hospital is a premier medical facility for the treatment of horses in Northeast Indiana. Our hospital provides surgical, diagnostic, and treatment options formerly unavailable in Fort Wayne and surrounding areas. For emergencies such as severe colic, traumatic injury, and foaling difficulties it is essential to have rapid access to veterinary treatment. These benefits are available to new and existing clients of our practice as well as referrals from various veterinarians in the area.

Ambulatory equine veterinarians Dr. Conley, Dr. Koontz, Dr. Rothenbuhler, Dr. Gran, Dr. Bollman, and Dr. Stohlman continue to travel to farms in Allen, Whitley, Noble, Dekalb, Huntington, Wells, Kosciusko and more. Many maintenance, emergency and medical treatments are most efficiently administered by traveling to the equine patient.

We are proud to improve the lives of area horses by making a wide range of equine services available.
