Dr. Gran grew up in New England (where real maple syrup comes from). She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Findlay, and then graduated from vet school at Tufts University in 2007. She completed a rotating internship and internal medicine residency at Purdue University in 2011, becoming board certified with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2012. Her areas of expertise include neonatal care, emergency/critical care, reproduction, and metabolic disease.
